Ugh! You are so far ahead of me now! I haven't made any progress with the new section at all as I have been really sick with a tooth infection for several days now. I had the tooth pulled on Friday morning and the aftermath pain has been worse than when the tooth was still in me. LOL
So, I still have Section 1 laying on the table backside up waiting for me to put the contact paper on it. I can't move forward with Section 2 until that's done. I am hoping to feel good enough today to get this finished so I can get back to Section 2.
I have a lot of catching up to you to do!!! LOL
You are making tremendous progress...and I'm soooo jealous. LOL
So it's now Monday and you're probably back at work. Did you make a lot more progress since your last post? I'm sure you did, and I will be even more envious as I accomplished exactly NOTHING over the weekend. I was really sick with the tooth pain, and because I'm pregnant, all I could take for it was Tylenol. I have been living on it every 4 hours since Friday morning. It's finally starting to feel a tiny bit better than it has been today for the first time. I can't wait to be back to feeling good as I need some serious puzzling time.
I did finally get the contact paper cut to the right size (4 strips the width of section 1) and now I just have to wait for an opportunity for my husband to help me put it on. I don't think there's any way for me to do it myself and make it come out right. I think we will be able to tackle it tonight after our son goes to bed...hopefully anyway. I am really missing being able to work on the puzzle, but I've felt so cruddy that even if the first section had been completely removed from the board and I had a "blank canvas" again to work with, I probably still wouldn't have touched it this weekend. :o(
Anyway, I hope that your long puzzling weekend went well and you made lots of good progress, even though I will be extremely jealous that you're getting further and further ahead of me. LOL
